    Treo/i760 users

I currently have the Treo 700WX and I ordered the i760 to give it a whirl. Please post thoughts/reviews if you have used BOTH the Treo W/WX and the Sammy i760. Thanks x2.

the 760, while far more robust and powerful, lacks the "one handedness" of the Treo. I will be very curious to see what the Treo 800W looks like with the 320x320 and WM6. so far I love the phone!!

The one thing I won't miss is the lack of mod capabilty with the TREO. 3rd party apps would not work that well with it. Lack of memory, processing power, small (dull screen compared to the 760), etc. From a PDA standpoint the 760 is far superior. unfortunatley I have not been able to activate the 760 with Verizon because our account admin is camping with his kids. who is he to take vacation when I need my gadget fix?!?!

I am going to wait and see how it performs in the real world for the next few weeks with the phone portion activated. I have been using my Verizon Home Wifi and its pretty fast.

This is my 4th PDA phone device in 4 years. i700 to the 6600(brick) to the TREO 700W (not bad) to the 760 so far so good.

    Hope that helps.

Espo - I heard that the 700WX had more memory than the 700w did. that might have helped me stay with that form factor, but truthfully I am a slave to new things and must get the latest and greatest. like I said earlier, I am very interested to see what the 800w looks like in 6+ months.
