Does my i760 have a MAC address?

I posted this question yesterday and downloaded/installed vxUtil and vxConfig from Cambridge. The programs gave me the IP addresses but not the MAC address.

Can anyone help me find the MAC address? My wireless router is requesting the MAC address so my i760 can use my wireless internet. I put the IP address in but it was invalid.

Thanks to you who responsed to my previous question.

I know vxIPConfig reports it. First line under the selector pull-down. "Adapter Address." Mine happens to be 00-18-41-21-b8-81 on my wireless card, for example.

Edit - make sure you're looking at the adapter for your wireless card. The pull-down may be selecting the wrong adapter, so cycle through them and look for one that's populated in the format above.

Your phone wouldn't connect to your AP? Or something else?

You mentioned that your AP wanted your system's MAC address. Did you add it to the list of permitted addresses?

yes i added the address (adapter address) to the list and it is still not working.

How do you use the #4357* dial code? Do you dial it like calling someone?

Nope - just press those 6 buttons, and the screen pops up. You don't hit send.

    Mac address on I760

I had the same problem with my Samsung I760, go to phone and dial #4357*.
This will give you your mac address along with other info about your phone.
