    FYI: memorycards!

after trying to find out the max size memory card the i760 supports. I took it upon myself and called verizon tech support.

As is fresh out of the box it will only support 2Gig max.

Tech support said the are waiting for a patch to allow it to see a 4Gig card.

there was no word on 6Gigs or above.

yep its just a driver issue. I don't think WM6 supports 8gig cards period. no matter what patch/crack you use. and with this crack you risk damaging your 4gig card not to mention 6 or 8Gig cards.

That hack works very well. You should have no issues using SDHC cards with it installed. This phone was developed before the SDHC standard was widespread, so it was not built in.

WM6 doesn't care, your storage drivers do. My TyTN II, for example, is fully SDHC compatible, so when the 32GB cards ship it'll take 'em.

Now I'm not sure what that'll do to battery life, mind you...

Please use this thread to only discuss any official release of a program or update from Verizon/Samsung. If you wish to discuss the hack, please use the link found in post #2...
