    Angry Exchange account: HTML format greyed out??

    The first time I set up my i760, the setup of my email accounts (one Exchange, one IMAP, one LiveMail) went flawlessly. All three nicely displayed my emails in HTML format.

    Then I had to start over (never mind why), so I did a hard reset AND I completely uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync.

    This time...I can no longer get my Exchange account to display emails in HTML format. The setting is greyed out, and set to Plain Text. For the other accounts it works fine. WHY????????

    I think it has to do with Exchange 2003 vs. 2007. I have been told that 2003 will NOT allow HTML on the handhelds and 2007 will. thats all I know and I am certainly now an IT person. maybe someone here can help?!?!

    You are correct. Exchange 2007 is required for HTML mail.
