    I'm sure some of you have seen the verizon math video before but today consumerist plugged a great article on verizon's rate quoting:

    I had never seen this stuff before. It really is amazing. Exactly who do they hire...

    On the first video the exchange where the lady said she near the difference between 1 dollar and 1 cent, and between .5 dollars and .5 cents but didn't know the difference between .002 dollars and .002 cents is classic.

    In the questions video, it defintely appears that some of the reps just made up answers to the first question. I could understand being confused over .002 dollars and .002 cents but some of them had random answers that didn't even involve a '2'.

    I don't know if this is a sad commentary on Verizon as a whole or just on the people on the other end of the line.
