    Woo Hoo! Got My Rebate!

My worries are over. I got my $50 from Verizon in the mail today. I didn't qualify for the new every 2 due to a bad experience with a Motorola Q last December, but $149 net for my I760 works for me!!!

How did you end up at a net $149? I am considering this phone this weekend but the price I am seeing is $399 -$50 rebate -$100 new every 2 for a net $249. Is there a discount out there that I haven't stumbled across yet?

mschwab must have had an additional discount since they didn't get the new every 2...Vitticeps, you would also qualify for the $100 data discount.

It was that first day it went on sale, $399 - $100 online discount - $100 data rebate - $50 rebate. I don't think Verizon intended to give both the online and the data discounts.

where can I find out more about this data discount so I can be informed when I go into my local VZW store. I have already spoken with the sales people at the store about a week ago and they did not offer an data discount.

After reading the, now closed, "how much did you pay" thread I now understand this discount. I'm really glad I stumbled across this as I have spoken to vzw store personell and telephone customer service about getting this phone and the best price either offered was $249. My NE2 hits this weekend so when I do order I'll be sure and push for the Advanced Device Discount/Data plan upgrade credit (whatever they call it). Had I missed this thread I likely would have thrown away $100. I've been a Verizon customer since before Verizon existed (I was with PrimeCo), 11 years now, so I'm not big on the idea of giving them more money than I have to.

    thanks.

Just received my $50 rebate so that puts me in the 49.90 club for the phone.
