    Teathering i760

I have been an i730 fan forever and, alas, yesterday, I left it on my car when I drove away (on, not in)...you get the picture.

Verizon's insurance is replacing it with the i760. Now I live on teathering and thanks to superdave and the procedures he provided to downgrade the radio to bypass the additional cuz-we-can monthly charge for teathering your phone for internet, I was hoping a procedure like this would be available (or maybe...hopefully....uneccessary) for the i760.

Does anyone have any advice here? I haven't received the phone yet, just trying to save time by initiating a post here.

    Thanks for any help!!
    Jon

    Hey welcome to the list!

    Try this thread:
    i760 as a Modem

I installed the hack and it works great.
