    Locking up triggers...

Hey everybody...been lurking around for a LONG time, and have greatly enjoyed everything on here.

I seem to be having a very specific issue not previously addressed in this forum.
I have my text msgs set to be read to me. When my phone is in sleep mode receiving a text will lock up the phone. The only way to go from there is a soft reset.
after the reset, there is no memory of the text message on my phone. 95% of the time this happens only when receiving a text from a certain person. Others can text me under the same circumstances (ie in sleep mode, read mode) and all is fine.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? anyone in the same boat?

    Thanks again!

i should also add, that i haven't changed my phone at all...no extra software nothing.
i did a hard reset last week hoping that would correct the issue...no success.

I would get a replacement ... sounds like a bad unit if you have no other software on the phone ... maybe try another hard reset ... I had an issue after installing touch commander with reminder alerts ... what the two have in common who knows ... anyway ... I had to do two hard resets to get it right again ... not sure why ... but it did fix the issue ... although I had to completely set up the phone again ..
