Not likely. While it will run on Verizon phones, they require an external GPS receiver, at least they have so far.

What if he has a BT GPS receiver?

I've spoken with Telenav and their phone jockey didn't know whether or not it would work with our phone. I'd like to give it a try but I don't have an external receiver yet.

Dunno. It's not on their site, but in theory any WM device with an external GPS SHOULD work. They have a 30-day trial, if you want to risk it.

    Telenav on the samsung SCH-i760

I had the G-Sat GPS that I used on a blackberry pearl. So I just registered the SCH-i760, and downloaded the software from Telenav for the XV-6700. Since they are both windows based I thought it might work.

Good news is it works great, no problems at all. Was disapointed that the windows version of telenav is not as advanced as the blackberry version - limited options and you can not pick up addresses from outlook like you can on the BB

But it works and now my SCH-i760 has a working GPS !!!!!
