    Calling from Calendar

Sometime I do have phone numbers in the text note of an appointment. It's just a single time call so I dont want to add that to my Contacts. Just a way to call it with a click, not Copy/Paste

    Any ideea?

Try this format. it works on the i730.

    Phone: tel: (404) 664-1234

hmmm....that should be tel"colon"(404). Damn faces!

When on a call, click "Note" and the number is captured in clickable format.
    Good Luck.

    Thanks!

    Very handy.

Oddly, looks like the tel: text cannot be edited once recognized as a link.

I noticed that also. But if you click the number, you can then copy it from the comformation screen and paste it wherever, then edited it. Thanks Gawd for work arounds.

I can't seem to get it to work...what might I be doing wrong?

On a somewhat similar note, I'd also love an easy way to lookup and tie an existing contact to an appointment or todo and have it be clickable. Agendus seems to do this, but I'm not a big fan of it overall. Anything else out there that does this?

the tel:number works but I'm not a fan of it: I wish clicking that would dial directly.... anyway, maybe there is something that ties the number to the dialer.... or maybe a contact to the appointment and dial somehow...

The only think I can think of is that it's its pretty picky on the format. And sometimes going back to the text and pressing SPACE got it to recognize the link if it did not do so initially.
