Sprint TV for i760, yeah I know!

I was perusing the 6800 forum, just looking for things to bring to my i760. Anyway I found a link for a Sprint TV cab. After a little testing, it seems to work fine. I'm watching "Grey's Anatomy" right now (ladies )

The only downer is that you have to reinstall cache after every soft-reset.

Ok so follow the link, Sprint TV for Mogul -- Working 11/28/07

install the cab, then run & close app

next remove the program files/Sprint tv/cache folder and replace with downloaded cache folder.

    then run and enjoy

I've had no luck..thus far its asking to upgrade the client then telling me im not authorized.

How are you folks dealing w/ the cache files which are small in size but large in numbers (a setup that results in a very slow file movement).

Played a little more then gave up. Did you folks accept the upgraded client or reject it? I let it get to the main menu where it kicked me then copied the cache files and started it again and found it kicked me again (unauthorized user).

Now this is a wicked hack. Works on my I730. Weird to see the sprint logo But the Ellen Degeneres channel??? I think I'll stick to slinging. Really not live TV, seems mostly just clips of episodes you stream. Might be some live stuff like news and the Nascar channel but didn't check them all out.

I unrared on the desktop and transfered. Even with a bluetooth connection it only took a few minutes.

Played a little more then gave up. Did you folks accept the upgraded client or reject it? I let it get to the main menu where it kicked me then copied the cache files and started it again and found it kicked me again (unauthorized user).
Never asked me to upgrade anything.

OK so I finally reset my phone last night and totally forgot about the cache folder. Low and behold the channels were all still there and the Sprint TV worked without a hitch.

    Anybody else wanna confirm?

EDIT: I think I was just adding confusion, although it looks like there are a couple of different versions out there. Is this the most recent?

    Channels are reportedly:

    CNN Mobile Live
Fox Sports - Most sub channel
    The Weather Channel
    Disney Channel
    E!
    Sprint Exclusive Entertainment
    NFL Network
    Music - Most sub channels
    ABC Mobile
    CBS Mobile
    MTV
    Comedy Central
    Nickelodeon
    Ellen Degeneres
    VH1
    CMT

The one attached to the 1st post has the subscription channels (even tho you can never subscribe to them)
I installed the "removed subscription channels" version of the Sprint TV cab to test it out, and it gave me an "Unauthorized Sprint user, Sprint TV will now shut down" error. Just a heads up!

Interesting I must have the wrong version. I'll have to find the version that doesn't reject me as a unauthorized sprint user.
    Thanks

The one that is attached in this post definitely works. Before you install it, make sure you uninstall the previous version and then goto Program Files and delete the Sprint TV folder. Oh and of course soft reset just in case.
