I installed Flash Player 7. What did it get me?

I installed Adobe Flash Player 7 for PPC thinking I would get more content in my PIE web surfing...like CNET Videos. However, I haven't found a site that looks any different. Most "flashy" content still doesn't display. Is this version so old that no web sites support it anymore? Is there a URL that uses flash that I can test it with? ...or should I just remove it?

These instructions will allow you to watch YouTube. I then also have been using the site: YouTube Pocket to get a more mobile friendly interface. ...you still need to follow the instructions from the link above to get it to work.

I don't think you can just download flash lite, at least that is what I remember finding out when I tried to from their website previously. It comes bundled in the ROMs, instead...maybe someone could hack it out for us.

I think with Flash 7 you can expect to be able to view flash web pages and animations, but in some manner flash 7 movie players are different beasts. It seems like underneath the flash player it may just be embedding other types of movie formats or something, which may be the heart of the issue. Just my guess.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.
