Question HELP! Need Dimensions for New SCREEN Protectors! Please READ!

    Hi All,

I have been talking to John Salazar, the owner of www.pdascreenprotectors.com and he has agreed to make screen protectors for the Samsung i300.

These screen protectors are the best because they don't have a "sticky" backing like Companion Link or Write Right. Therefore they are the most clear and have almost no "drag" whatsoever on the pen. Because they "tuck" inside the edges, I need some help from everyone to measure the "exact" dimensions of the phone. I didn't want to take the chance and be "off" a little like the companion links. The companion link screen protectors are too long and it's annoying trying to get all the "air bubbles" out.

Here is the email from John:
Thanks for your interest. All we need are two bits of information:

1 - The exact dimensions of the visible screen area - from frame edge to
frame edge, in both directions (millimeters preferred).
2 - Confirmation that there is "tuck-under", and how much. For this, the
best thing to use is a photographic negative or similar plastic film. Simply
tuck the edge of the film under each edge of the frame and measure it. It
may be as little as 1mm, and up to 7mm or 8mm.

You can simply fill in these blanks...
    Width:
    Height:
    Left edge tuck-under:
    Right edge t/u:
    Top edge t/u:
    Bottom edge t/u:

    That's it!

If you can provide these numbers to us, we can cut and ship a test sample
    today for you to try.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    John Salazar

Buy a box of overhead transparencies and cut some yourself.

I don't believe this "tuck under" thing can ever work.

I bought some of these and trimmed them to fit... best of all he options I've seen on the threads... clear, no moire' pattern, and they resist fingerprints...can't wait until they are avaialble "to size"...
I love my wife and my I300...don't make me choose.

I purchased the G2 version about 2 weeks ago. They are the right size and the "tunck under" thing works great.

Takes about 10 minutes to apply since you really do want to be careful about the dust/lint issue.

    I have been very pleased.
