What's the advantage of Avantgo if you can browse the web direct?

I use Acrobat reader, Action Names, Album to Go, Eudora, Fire Viewer, Pocket Quicken, Filez, and the following games: Black Jack, Puzzle, Pyramid, SolFree, and of course ZioGolf.

I like AvantGo because it downloads a lot of information whenever I hotsync. Therefore, I'm not required to burn my SprintPCS minutes except when I need to get the latest information (i.e., stock quotes, email). I can live with news information that is an hour old.

My list of must have applications include:

DateBk4 (waiting on an update to resolve an I300 hotsync issue)
    Pocket Quicken 2.0 (great program)
Launcher III v3.05 (significantly improved GUI over default)
Tipsy 3.2 (great for splitting lunch bills with my colleagues)
A number of PQAs (i.e., E*Trade, MapQuest, Yahoo, AIM)
    Password Store v1.83

    Marc,

Where can we get Browse-It, and what do you think are the advantages/disadvantages of it vs. Avantgo?

    Thanks!

Both hackmaster and x-master seem repetitive.

They do the same thing. I'd just go with X-Master

I was looking at Jake's apps and saw SnapNType. I know that this is the same app that I installed when I was setting up my thumb board. I just figured that jake was using the same.

Sorry, I have not been able to borrow the camera to take better pictures. Also, my boss's boss came to the office today and decided it would be nice to try out my thumb board for a few days. I expect to get it back about the same time that the i330 comes out.

    Most important programs...

I'd have to say the most important programs are the ones I keep beyond the shareware trial period and actually pay for. Here's the full list....

    - BaseJet (still a free Beta, but my most-used program)
    - FingerDial (just registered it yesterday)
    - LifeBalance (click on the banner ad here with the sunset)
    - PunchClock (time in/out tracking for billable hours)
    - Documents to Go 4.0 Standard
    - Launcher III (the free one)
    - AvantGo

That's it - other than that, I'm rather plain - dont use hacks much anymore.

Hudson's Bomberman is the one that I'm using, not IMR Bombers, that one doesn't work for the I300, I'll check the version tomorrow at work, since I just deleted it earlier today
