    Angry i300 wireless web

I am FURIOUS!! I had a Toshiba VM4050 that Lockline is supposed to replace, in the meantime I bought a i300 off someone on ebay for 46 bucks plus shipping. I get it activated and come to find out the thing wont let me get on the web unless i dial up into it. WHAT the heck is that?? what good is a pda that eats up your minutes as your on the web? Who can afford that? PLEASE someone tell me Sprint didnt know what they were talking about when they told me that, AND does the i330 and up (treo 600 and hitachi g1000 have to do the same as well or does it use 3G like my Toshiba did. Please reply asap so I can decide what to do...

the i300 used voice minutes to connect. the old 2G phones dial #2932 to get into sprints network. they do eat up your vcoice minutes... thats the way it was back when that was all thhat we had. you can not dial into vison as the phone is not vision compatible. your only optuon is to use voice minutes to access data at speeds less than 14K...

Do you know if the Treo 300 has to do the same thing, or does it use 3G?
