    Angry Accessories - Don't order from Sprint!

    I have ordered accessories for my SPH-I300 both from Sprint and direct from Samsung. I have had bad luck with Sprint. They are out of stock on several items. Not only that, but they do not indicate this status on the order page or e-mail confirmation. When I only got one of the items I ordered, I called and after waiting on hold for (without exageration) 40 Minutes, they told me that the other items were out of stock, it did not matter what the WWW site said. They said they could not even guess when I would get the items. It could be 4 weeks or 4 months. When I told them to cancel the order, they said my Credit Card had already been charged!!!! They would have to process a refund and it could take a couple of weeks!!

    My Samsung order arrived in 3 days, was complete, and I had no problems.

    I haven't ordered from Sprint, but I did order a second charger/cradle from Samsung directly and am 99% pleased with the experience. The web site worked well, I got two emails about the order...but never got the promised email telling me that my order had actually shipped.

    Called their customer service number today and they were very friendly and helpful. Put me on hold for maybe 45 seconds and came back with a FedEx tracking number. Even apologized that I had to hold! Very pleased.

    Cradle should arrive tomorrow, according to FedEx tracking.

    gotta love how sprint charges your credit card for items they don't even have in stock....

    I have had a similar crappy experience w/Sprint. Stuff never arrives, wrong stuff comes, credit card charged pronto. I even had some stuff charged to my CC AND my Sprint account. My admin is still trying to get it all worked out. After I received cards from Sprint saying the backordered accessories were still not in and the order would be cancelled, some things showed up!!!! They are CLUELESS. Since I have a business account it seems we always have to talk to a zillion people, because NO ONE can do anything.

    I also ordered stuff from Samsung and it arrived in 3 days, as promised.
