    MCCI Driver?

I just visited www.samsungusa.com, clicked on Support, then on Download Center, entered my phone model (SPH-i500), and then clicked on the Software tab. The only thing listed is an "MCCI Driver" ver 4.16. What is an MCCI driver, and do I need it?

    Marc,

Technically that's not correct. You do need the driver for your PC to recognize the phone.

So, All the MCCI driver is is the USB drivers for the phone so you can hotsync and use the phone as a CDMA modem on your computer. You're supposed to install the drivers before ever connecting your phone; then when you do, you'll get the plug n' play box which will show the drivers you just installed.

But, if you've already used the CD - then you don't need the drivers.
I gave up on the free ipod. And where'd my smilies go?
