do a search for "I500sms reauthentication", posted by fluffi_bunni. The solution is actually quite simple (once you have it, of course).

    the fix says:
Please go to the "Enable I500SMS" application, and re-authenticate by reentering your SprintPCS password and changing your proxy password. Then it should start working.
I don't have i500sms, so how is this supposed to help?

Also, what is the proxy setting in Blazer supposed to be?

The suggestion about i500 reauthentication wasn't directed to you; it was in response to a query by NYCEthan.

I too have installed the Nweb and the first time I tried it I went to MSN... Fatal Error/Reset. This is awful!! I have no hacks, and never had this problem in the past. Hope they figure it out and fix it!

WebPro doesn't reset on this website, so I suppose if Blazer is really kaput after this week, I'll have to use WebPro (ugh)... (or look into Xino).

Yeah, my wife has been trying to decide on getting on i500
    or Treo or ????

So, the other day she wanted to play with my i500 online,
so I had her bring up the nWeb application.

Of course, it fatal error'd twice in the 30 minutes she was
using it and wasn't very impressed.

This has been a turbulent thread to read. Nevertheless I am glad I did read it in it's entirety.

I'm glad I decided to wait and see on this. I did not install Nweb even though I registered for it. I have been using WebPro for months thus I probablly would not miss it. Except of course if I could not reclaim the resources consumed by it remaining on my phone. In any event Blazer still works for me and I hope I never get the FSOD.

Has anyone received a written response from Sprint regarding our/any grievances regarding the i500 and/or a comparable upgrade? If so please provide the Point of Contact (POC) and rate their ability to keep i500 owners from being discarded further?

Sprint must have renewed the license or something. My I500 died and Sprint had to replace it for me. They gave me a different I500 today (Oct 13th), and YES, Blazer does work on it.

Oxford Valley did not have the I500 in the store. They submitted an e-ticket, and an I500 was mailed from the warehouse. I inquired about getting a T650 instead of the I-500 just to see what would happen, and was told that they would not do that since they still had a lot of I500s in the warehouse. Therefore, I would assume that anyone should be able to get an I500 replacement until such time as the warehouse supply is exhausted.

Well for those who've given up on nweb, or still getting crashes with it (I just had another one today), I can confirm that nweb does seem more stable if you turn Javascript off.

I have wiped Nweb (does the N stand for "No"?) and went totally back to WebPro.

I can't take the crashes anymore. Driving me bananas.
