    FSOD on i550???

    rave-did samsung fix the fsod yet-do you guys know what is causing it, and why only samsung's suffer from them???

    The reason we got FSOD in the first place was the video memory being corrupted. However, I don't know how the i550 will fare in this regard, because I haven't used it enough.

    I was wondering the same. I found a post that defines it as "flashing screen of death". Sometimes the device will crash so bad that it wont soft reset. I havent seen it on the device I am using so I would guess it is fixed.

    On the SPH-I500, you can get FSOD by hitting the reset (with the pin in the stylus) and then hitting it again once the Palm logo shows up. I did this by accident... and had to hard reset to clear it.

    uhh...b/c you haven't seen it that means it's fixed?

    Ok, I take it back. I have now seen the FSOD on the device I am using.
