    Replacement touch screens found!!!

A distributer has found the replacement touchscreen parts and is willing to stock them granted there can be found a market for them!!

Holy smokes, that's a nice guy!!

He would like to sell them for approx. $50, which would be great for the poor souls that don't have ins. for replacement handsets.

Post replies if you are interested in encouraging this excellent business practice and extremly courteous customer service!!<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

It's a sealed assembly. unless you can press LCD's, you have to do the whole assembly

    Replacement Touch Screen TouchScreen

    Replacement Touch Screen TouchScreen

I have a touch screen I would be willing to sell. It is in a 6035 where the jog dial broke and have been keeping it as my insurace policy in case I drop mine. I can disassemble the product and sell it if anyone wants it. To cover the costs of shipping & handling, paypal.com, etc., I would sell it for $70 total. Email hdgelfuso@prodigy.net if you are interested.

    kyo 6035 parts

here is what we need to do,

If someone is going to get the parts check out this link for a parts explosion. It looks like we only need the screen cover if your only talking about scratches.

    ftp://ftp.kyocera-wireless.com/pub/C...698-4_6035.pdf

Part 22 on page 2 they are 10 pack for 1.30. Sure beats the hell out off 50-60 dollars.

That's just the plastic film that was on your phone when it was shipped. The screen isn't very readable/usable with it on.

The box said "Requires Windows 98 or better." So I installed Linux.

    lol
phone is up and running with new palm screen!! but paint me purple and call me suzy, the MIC no longer works, hehe now i have to use a handsfree headset in order to talk on the silly thing.
    gosh i love/hate my 6035!!

NOTE: MIC problem is unrelated to Touch Screen replacement. I lost my MIC when re-assembling the handset.

I always get screens without question for my Visor, but it's grayscale, so slight dulling is hardly noticed. Will it be like that on color devices?
