Question OT: Please! Computer help Needed! click here

I recently bought a motherboard and CPU in Feb Is just now that I have the time to install it, but I have a problem, and since you guys know everything and I have sent an Email to Customer Service where I bought this mobo and still no answer maybe one of you can help me.

When I try to connect the motherboard, a PC CHIPS M830LR, with the case a Nikkao Nobleese, I have one cable connector that I don't know where it goes or if it matches, its the Power LED connector, in the mobo manual it tells me to connect it on top of the H.D.D.LED, but there is only 2 pins in that connector, and as you can see there is 3 plugs, so I don't know what to do.

I know its not the case that Is weird, because I have 3 other PCs and they have the same type of cables, but this motherboard is weird

Because of that I can't turn on the computer, I have everything ready but that thing is holding me up!!

I have made a diagram to explain what I'm trying to say, You can just let me know what to do, you can use the same diagram and color-code what goes where, you could use MSpaint for that if you want

The case that I'm using for this is the Nikkao Noblesse, its an ATX case. Here is the link if you want more specifications:

    Please help!! Thanks in advance

    Jumper settings

    Hi,

    Try to do this :

1.- Check if there is any jumper to enable/disable the keyboard power on in the motherboard (maybe jp7)
2.- When you find it, set the jumper to enable keyboard power on
3.- leave the power led cable unpluged

    Try to power on again,

    let me know . . . . .

As a system builder alot of times I only plug in the power switch, power sw on the connector, and leave everything else unplugged until I get the system running and an os loaded. This eliminates me plugging something in wrong and causing the board to not post. The only plug you need in is the power switch and you might want to plug the speaker in to get any beep codes. Hope this helps.

I don't want to start a war here, but I would like to suggest that this forum stick to topics about the i-300. There are plenty of other boards out there for non i-300 stuff.

    Peace.

There are 1,023 Members, and we have in this forum 1,217 Threads. Because 1 or two posting ask about something not relevant to the I300, we are not going to deviate this forum into something else.

I asked this question because, to be an owner of the I300, pretty much you have to have some computer knowledge, and people here answer question fast. We are a brotherhood, I don't mind answer a question of something that sometimes doesn't relate to the I300, I am as much of a fan of the I300 as everybody here. I just asked the question since I figured out that somebody here might have an answer that I'm looking for.

Anyways, these forum has been kind of slow, these past days.

I', sorry If I offended anyone or bothered someone with my post, It was just the fact that I need it an answer to my question fast. and I usually come here for answers.

This is pretty much like my tabernacle, Sorry!!

PS. I will try what vialy and speedye1 are saying I will let you guys know, thanks a bunch for your help!

hmmmm...... well I for one enjoy learning what I can from all the posts, directly I300 related or not but I guess I don't know the letter of the rule either. Seems if you don't wanna have your mind cluttered with other info., you just don't bother following the thread. Is the issue that this thread is taking up space that might otherwise be devoted to the I300??.... doesn't seem that space is an issue. Just my humble (big-mouthed) opinion.
