    My desk

I just had to take a picture of my desk for satisfying curiosity's sake. From left to right: HP nx7000 laptop (with ViewSonic VG150B flat-panel monitor on top soon to be replaced with 19" HP monitor), Samsung SPH-i700, i-mate PDA2K, Compaq Evo N800c laptop, i-mate, HP iPAQ h6315, Motorola v600, iPAQ h4150.

Not shown but present: Kyocera 6035, Handspring Visor, Samsung SPH-i500, Samsung SPH-i300, Palm III.

Anyone else wanna show their desk off?

    Enjoy!
    John

Hehehe... I only sync the i700, the h6315, the i-mate and the PDA2K. Two per laptop.

You've got more cradles than a maternity ward!

Oh and you forgot to include the "7-11 Big Gulp" on your desk.

Cool stuff. Anytime I see that many electronic gadgets in one place my pulse picks up.

Jeeze, do you get a crick in your neck with the keyboards (PC) 90 deg away from the Monitors (PC)!

Sweeeeeeeet! Scary that I actually know what most of that equipment does! (I'm such a geek...)

Used to have a DX-7 myself. What's the keyboard under it? (Looks like a Juno-6, can't tell.)

guzzy, yeah i do.. but its the only place i can sit them...

kito, yeah i have shot HD plenty of times.. its a pain to shoot HD because of all the gear you have to attach on the side of the camera... not to mention that blasted triax... err. sorry .. rambling...kito i KNOW you love HD...

    jp,

man you and i should compare notes! that keyboard is actually a DX-7IIFD, the next keyboard is a Juno-60 and the keyboard below then both is a Korg Trinity Pro.

man we are all geeks guys... lets face it...

Gee, not bad... since I haven't seen a DX-7 or a Juno-60 in almost 20 years! I last had a Juno-106 in 1986 and my DX-7 lasted until 1990. Didn't see the Trinity, but nice stuff!

My wife got a mother's day present from me 8 years ago... a Roland XP-80. To think, it was advanced for its time, storing MIDI files and synth settings on 3.5" floppies! I just hope modern keyboards have USB ports and FireWire.

Neat is not how I would describe my desk... it is very cluttered. You just saw the middle section... and didn't see the piles of trade rags and sticky notes everywhere. I have been doing some cleaning though... it is too disorganized.

jp, the xp-80... man i loved that board.. it had some very nice warm string sounds in it.. used it every chance i could in tracks (pissed a few people off).. yeah these boards have been very good to me.

and trade rags!!? buhahahahaha......... you do not want to see that.. i get , like, 10-14 mags per month! (all free except 2 of them--business compliments). im still a couple months behind on some of them.. they make good library reading (if you get my drift.. bathroom .. library.... )

    Yeah, Mike... post it!!

I get about 12 trade rags a week (all but one business complimentary and weekly.) I spend a lot of time reading but still can't keep up! I have discontinued a lot of them as I try to reorganize. I get enough to keep the whole staff busy for several hours in the "reading room" each day.
