    Question MSN Messenger Question :)

Okay, I have an off-topic question.... Hopefully you guys can help me out as much as they do on the h6315 board!!!

Since I updated to the new MSN messenger on my laptop, it has made my chat windows "float", I guess, for lack of a better explaination. The grey bar up at the top (you know the one that says File, Edit, Actions, etc) goes away (very similiar to what Windows Media Player does). It really bugs me and I don't like it. I've searched all over the options and can't find anyway to make it go back to the way it was. Any ideas?

Thanks so much for your help

What version of MSN Messenger are you using? I'm using V6.2 and it doesn't do that.

Same as me. The only option I can find related to this is the "always on top" option that will force it above other windows... but I can't see how you could get rid of the menu bar.

I know!! Great, what have I done now.

Mine only does it when my screen is not maximized... If it's maximized, the grey bar will come back.

Wait... hold on.. I think I see something. When your screen is not maximized, do you see a little up and down arrow right underneath File? I think that makes it float and unfloat...

Maybe now it will STAY unfloated...

    Thanks for your help

Upon re-reading the thread... I'm just glad no one decided to make any jokes about the "always on top" option....
