    How to pronounce EV-DO?

    Odd question, but as I find myself showing this toy off to fellow geeks I don't want to sound like a total newb.

    I've been pronouncing it "Ev-Dough'. Is it usually pronounced that way, or per letter "E V D O"? Perhaps just "Evolution Data Optimized"?

    how do you pronounce RSVP? do you make a word out of it or just say each letter?

    im guess you say each letter, thats how evdo is spoken...

    if you want to be the top geek, just say EVolution Data Only....

    i believe your right Mw and i think thats how its widely known at present.

    in the early drafts of EV-x it was indeed Data Only. this was because there was also a draft of EV-DV being developed... Data Voice...
