6700 Stylus Up For Grabs at Laguardia Airport

I thought I would share a funny story.

On Monday I went to New Jersey and flew in to Laguardia airport. I stopped in the mens room there at the airport. As some of you may know, the urinals are quite confined there with units set up back to back. While doing my business some guy bumped into me, at which point something small and black flew into the urinal. I thought, with my luck, it was my zipper tab. But my zipper was still intact and I couldn't see what the object was.

Later I noticed my stlus was missing and realized right away that my recently loose stylus was the victim.

I felt grateful that I did not realize what happened at the time, otherwise I might have been faced with making a decision I would certainly later regret.

Anyway, it may still be there if anyone needs it. It is all yours.

I noticed that most people who have stylus "accident" are either carrying the 6700 on the right side of their belt or carrying it with the screen facing your body. In those fashions, the stylus is either facing down or facing outside and therefore subceptical to accidental contact.

In my case, I carry the phone sideway on the left side of my belt, with the screen facing outside. Therefore, my stylus is about 45 degree up toward my body. In that angle, it never comes off by accident.

Very often, a small change can make big difference.

I'd rather lose a stylus than smash a screen

Funny story there... somehow I came back from the Sprint store with an extra two days ago after a tech and I fooled with a new-logo vs. old-logo 6700. I had mine in my pocket for safe-keeping and the tech inserted one before sending me on my way and I didn't notice until ten miles away halfway home--don't think they'll miss it

What terminal were you in? How are we supposed to find it? That task is unsavory enough without checking ALL the urinals.

If you heat the black plastic end of the stylus up and bend it a bit it will sit in the socket nice and snug. Works wonders

Reach into a urinal in NY? If my wang got lopped off and fell into a urinal in NY I wouldn't reach in for it let alone a $1 stylus

Hmmm, I wouldn't reach into a urinal for much, but for that? Maybe!

Where can you get a stylus for $1? I've managed to lose two and am shopping right now. I think it's related to using the Seidio clip; leaves the antenna exposed.
