or is there some other bundle thats better, i would main use it in my work travel, and would like to beam directions to other techs on short term visits.Does the GPS show my speed and location inside the SD card? But what about using GPS to save those ellusive fishing spots that seem to change along the river or bay? SOmeone suggested NOAA topo maps for that, jsut wondering if im asking to much?

I would recommend the iTrek. Here is a link where you can read about it more: http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ighlight=itrek

I have been very happy. You can see your speed, but it takes up a lot of space on the small screen... you can copy the directions to your memo pad and email/beam them to other people...

Since you will external need power to this unit - the only way so save fishing spots is if your car can drive up to it.

    Just MHO.

    thanks Pkaine

I downloaded the test of mapoplis and tried to use it but the maps it gives for free 9 day test are too small. I was wondering If I played with my FM tuner I use for the PTUNES hooked up if it would talk thru the speakers in my truck. I accendetally accepted a call while my music was playing and I could hear thru the speaker but so could the caller. Have to figure out how to use these toys while im driving. the voice sounded a bit robotic.

Im want to use this system out of the car also so im going to keep looking.
