    Case for Treo 650?

Has anyone found a case for the 650 that is snug, vertical and uses a sungless type of clip (not a swival clip > these add too much bulk to the case). I like to wear my phone inside my front pocket on my jeans and use the clip on the pocket itself so that just the outside of the clip is visible. I've used a belkin case on my I500 in the past and it has worked great.
    Thanks for your input...

I am using the slip over 600 case as well. Only problem is I keep losing it somewhere. I just ordered the form fit case and will give it a try. This way averything in one piece.

The "Form Fit" Case is exactly what I am looking for, I just want it with a sunglass type of clip instead of the swival clip - I have looked everywhere and from what it sounds, this just simply does not exist...

I had the pro-clip for the 600 and it worked wonderfully. The best clip out for the 600. Like you said, I like it to be not so bulky with the stupid swivel clip. It seems to sit 4 feet out from my body and gets banged into everything. I have not yet found a clip like that for the 650. If there is one available now, let me know. If not, mid Jan for the new pro-clip will be nice. I actually tried to fit my 650 into the 600 pro-clip and it almost worked. I guess they didn't want anything from the 600 to work with the 650, lol.

Have you looked at Covertec? I had one of thier cases when I had the Samsung i500 and really liked it. They have a few different types and colors for the 600:

I have a case that I am using that fits the bill. I have been using it since the day I got my 650 three weeks ago. Found it at Target. Is made by Sanyo, costs a whopping $8.99, is made of leather, has a great non-swivel, non snap off clip that holds it in very tightly to the body ( I HATE the clips that make the phone stick out away from the hip -- i.e., most of the swivel types), and fits the phone perfectly. It comes in several sizes and the size I got is the Large one.

i bought one 2 weeks ago

Your links not working but if its this one http://www.uniqase.com/proddetail.asp?prod=14605 I had one but with out the clip in the back. It transformed my sleek cool treo 650 into a goofy dork phone. But thats just my opinion. I sent it to the first person to mail me 2 dollars in postage. Mine was smoke carbon, it didnt decrease the functionality of the phone at all. it was fairly easy to take on and off. It was very grippy, It definatly diminishes the fear of dropping your phone, I called it the treo bat suit
heres a link to the one I had http://store.treocentral.com/content.../4-54--137.htm

I had to take off my egrips to put the skin on but I could barely stand it for half a day. Heres the egrips if you hadnt seen themhttp://store.treocentral.com/content.../4-54--167.htm

    The continuous case hunt!

Is there really a perfect case??

After much research including detalied reading of these forums I decided to order the Sena Magnet Flipper:

    http://www.senacases.com/cart/home.php?cat=320

This is a beautiful case! It is soft leather, very thin and the flip offers good protection, but it just hasn't been 'perfect' for me. I carried it around for about 2 days and have put it back in its box. I'll likely either return it to Sena (and be out $10.00 total for shipping to and from), or take my chances on e-bay.

    Today I ordered Treokitz:
    https://secure.itzkitz.com/catalog_t...products_id=33

There is been a lot of buzz around the forums about this Vaja clone. They were out of stock for awhile and now are back. I figure the figure the special price and no shipping deal is attractive enough to give it a spin.

If you are still on a case hunt yourself, you might want to look at this deal.

I bought one of these, it fits my needs exactly.

It's vertical, well made and has an eyeglass type clip.

I have found a great case that meets your description. Here is a link to it. It fit my Treo 600 and fits my 650 very well. The leather is very soft and nice.

I second this case... got it a couple weeks ago, and I've ditched all of my other ones. I've used and passed on the following:

    1. OEM form fit case with swivel clip - plastic screen cover killed stylus usage
    2. OEM horizontal case - tacky white stitching and didn't like the button closure
    3. SideKick II case - used it with a Treo Central S650 skin... worked great, but I couldn't stand the skin after a while, and the case is too big for the skinless Treo

    BUmmedic,

So you decided to go vertical instead of horizontal. I can't imagine wearing the treo vertical, the antenna would poke my side and drive me crazy. I have the P6 and the E&B case. I use the P6 when I'm working out of home and take the phone on and off. I use the E&B with the belt loop when I travel and wear the phone all day. Belt loops are just more comfortable than a clip and wearing it horizontal I don't even know the phone is there.

Both cases work well with egrips if you don't attach them to the battery cover. I think they are much better than skins.

It goes horizontal and vertical... just another perk, IMHO. I just feel more secure with this case, and the Treo feels safer when taking it in and out since it slides out easily (rather than needing to pull up one end and worry about getting a good enough grip, etc.). Like I've said before... everyone is different in the cases that we prefer. I may change my mind when I try a new case, but for right now, this is the one for me.

I'm using one without a clip right now and am happy with it but don't like it in my pocket. I am looking for a horizontal type pouch that will fit a skinned Treo. I just ordered one for a Sidekick 2 which is a little larger than a Treo.

I use the Vaja Case, I have used one of their cases for every Palm that I have owned with the exception of the 6035.
