    Speed Dial Buttons

Hi everyone. Another issue I can't figure out. Maybe you all can help. When setting up a speed dial button, you are supposed to be able to assign a "Quick Key" that you are supposed to be able to press and hold. I did that. The button assignment shows up on the speed button. But, when pressing and holding that key, nothing happens. Have you all gotten this feature to work?

    thanks,
    Mike

You have to be in the phone application for it to work.

No, that wasn't the problem. I guess I figured it out. You cannot use numbers for speed dial "press and hold" quick keys. Only the number 1 key can be used for a quick dial key for voicemail since it is set up this way from the factory. The quick dial "press and hold" keys have to be letters. It is possible to assign numbers to the speed dial instead of letters, but they don't work. You can't use the on screen dial pad for "press and hold" quick keys except for #1 for voice mail.
