    Jabra250....This is frustrating....GRRRRRR....

I just got my bluetooth headset to use with 650 couple of days ago in the mail. I charged the headset, paired it with phone OK but now I can't figure out how to get it to work. Do I just dial the number on the phone pad, hit "Dial" and start talking through the headset ? I did and nada. I have yet to hear any kind of voice/ring in the headset. When your headset is supposedly working are you still expected to hear convo/voice on your 650 ? Or just the headset ? "Cuz I just hear it on the 650 and never in the headset. What am I doing wrong ?

And marty, I *did* look through the manual that came with the headset and the Treo manual but I just can't get it to work. Too bad Jabra people are off on the weekend 'cuz I tried calling their tech support line.

Relax man. Once the call is initiated on the Treo (i.e. you see the counter/clock start ticking), push the button on the 250 and 1-3 seconds later, you will see a headphone icon appear either in place of or next to the bluetooth icon. The audio is now being transferred to the headset and you can use it as such.

Alright. That did the trick. Wow it was that simple, huh ?

    Thanks Marty.

Another tip: pair the 250 in the "handsfree profile" with the 650. This can be done by following the instructions in the "enhanced features" section in the manual. This will require you to first delete the 250 from the 650's trusted devices list accessed from the bluetooth icon. Once you do that, pair the 250 with the 650 using the new instructions. The 250 seems to operate smoother with the 650 when paired that way.
