Has anyone used this case ?

I like the fact that it has 2 slots for SD cards. I can have some textbooks type stuff on one and music/photos on the other. I actually got me a different case that I returned because it was such a tight fit for 650. In the photo it looks like 650 goes in easily but you have to literally jam it in.

    Don't buy that one.

I used to use that Piel Frama case for my Treo 600. I liked it a lot. It's very professional. The two SD slots were very convenient for me because I had two cards, one for just MP3s and videos and the other for apps and other files. The case is very secure and protective. It actually save my Treo from a few drops. Customer Support was great. The first case I had, the hole for the headset jack wasn't aligned properly, so I reported the issue to Piel Frama and they sent me a new one right away and told me to just keep the old one.

Whoa ! Is that the same case as the one I posted ? SAME ? That's 20 bucks cheaper than Treocentral. Treo case at ipaqcases.com ? Whodathunkit ?

Anyways I clicked on your link, clicked to buy and guess what ? Some website named aluron.com came up. So I did the search on resellerratings.com for this seller and no reviews turned up. Is this a trustworthy website ? How was your shopping experience from them ? 'cuz I am so tempted to buy it from them.

I actually didn't buy it from them. I bought mines at StylusCentral.com. I would recommend getting it from them, but they currently don't have the Treo 650 case in stock, only for the Treo 600.

You can also try out ebay for $48.95:

Or you can wait for PocketPC4You.com for $46.99

When I sent you that link, it said "Out of stock." I guess they knew you were looking to buy one so they decided to bring more in.

    Enjoy your new case!

I have one I ordered directly from Piel Frama. Nice case. But.....you have to be careful of the SD cards. You MUST use a screen protector or the edge of the card will scuff the screen. I've found out the hard way. I caught it before it got too bad. Also, you can't have the cover closed while you are talking on the phone. The pressure on the keyboard is enough for the buttons to keep pressing by themselves. I wish PalmOne would have embraced the flip style phone.....

Oh, and you can use a program like TreoGuard to disable the keyboard while when answering the phone, but that is a lousy option because if you need to use the keyboard while in a call, you can't. This is most aggrivating. I wish someone would come up with a little app that would allow you to activate and de-activate the keyboard at will.

I just got this guy in the mail. Thanks for the Link TR30!
I like it. $50 from the website mentioned above: ipaqcases,

I can talk on it while its closed, I use the HS810 remote, no problems.

Pretty stylish, don't have to worry as much now with damaging this thing, it's a little squirmy to handle.

    I have this one:http://www.senacases.com/catalog/Pal...p-1-c-320.html

Big plus is that since the magnets holding the flap are on the front, you can answer the phone with one hand and the flap naturally swings away from the phone.

The minus is that since the flap opens so easily, its easier to bump something and have the flap come open.

All in all I really like the case.

Uh oh. I like that one Jabo!
Too bad, a little too late.
I used the Piel Frama Belt Clip and attached it to my car's dashboard so I could easily manipulate the phone while driving.

    Piel case

I've been using a Piel Froma case for my Treo 650, but I get annoyed because the little leather "strap" across the front is too close to the top edge of the 5 way nav button, and it also touches the two little application buttons that are now sitting to the top/side of the 5 way button. If I want to use 5 way button, I sort of have to slide my fingernail under the leather strap.

The problem is that the Treo just needs to slide about 1/8 inch lower in the case.

Anyone else notice this mis-fit, or it is just me? Suggestions?

    Barbara

I had the same problem, I totally agree. Should go a little bit lower, so much for "custom" hand made leather quality.
I since sold the Treo 650 on E-bay, it turned out to be so much work, and not as much benefit.
