    Clearing Treo 650 (Cingular)

I plan on selling my Treo 650 (Cingular branded). What is the correct way to completely erase all personal information from the device?

    Thanks in advance!

You need to do a hard reset, which is to hold the power button while hitting the reset. You will be prompted after reset to erase all data. Answer yes and all your data is gone.

    Just curious, but why?

(More specifically, was there something about the phone you didn't like.)

Basically, I shouldn't have purchased it. I'm a long-time Verizon subscriber (most of the people I know are also Verizon people), so it didn't make sense to switch providers. (Verizon let me be back at no charge). I use a Samsung SCH-600, which is adequate enough for my needs.

It was a classic example of an impulse buy. The smartest thing would have been to return it within the trial period, but I didn't...
