    Music Players (i.e.MP3, etc)

I haven't seen anyone that has "recommended" a good 650 player for music.

coming from the 7135, BeBopper beat them all-hands down. what sold me is the Bass Boost - not to mention the small, but functional equalizer.

since BeBopper only works on the 7135 and they have not made mention of making one for the 650, is there anything out there that even compares?

Oh & BTW, the 7135 headset only plays stereo if you push the button anda hold it. the pin-out appears to be slightly different on the 4 pin 2.5mm plug. it plays mono through both earbuds.

i tried it. there's no bass boost and i didn't find the equalizer (but then again, i'm over 60 so it very well could have been there!)

    thanks. I'll look again.

Any others out there that compare?

no offense, but now that you have moved on to PalmOS5 and the 650's faster processor, you have a lot more powerful options for mp3 playback that blow bebopper out of the water. bebopper did a good job of getting the most out of the 7135's mp3 playback capabilities but it doesn't even compare to some of the other mp3 playback software now available (you won't have to deal with any 128kbps limit for starters). the most popular player is pocket-tunes (www.pocket-tunes.com). I suggest you check it out!

Does it have an alarm feature? In BeBopper I could set it as an alarm, it was much nicer to wake up to a song than an obnoxious alarm.

If it doesnt does anyone know of a mp3 player for the T650 that does?

Yes it does.... it lets you customize 6 different alarms for quick activation. Eg. I have 1 set up for wake up. Another to pick up my kids.

You can pick any built in alarm or MP3 from your card files. You can also configure it to open the app of your choice when you acknowledge the alarm. I would recommend downloading the trial... I use many of the features it comes with.
