    Question Flashing Asterisk

I have noticed a flashing asterick in the upper left hand corner of the phone page. The only thing that appears to get rid of this is pull the battery. Anyone know what this is? How to disable it? Thanks for the advise.

Tap it with your stylus. It indicates a message (voice mail or text)...

It must be the missed call thing, because I retrieved my voice mail and it continued to flash. Do I view my call logs to clear the * ??

No, tap it and it will bring up a window showing either missed call or voice mail. Then click the check box next to whichever one is there and it should clear it.

Is there a "handsfree" way to clear the asterisk and/or go to the missed calls/voicemail screen?

For handsfree, hold down the center button on the 5 way pad for about 2 seconds. A screen allowing you to clear the alert will pop up.

Try page 248 of the manual available from PalmOne's website.
