    Hi-Speed Users...Anyone see this? What's your opinion?

I saw this on PalmGear and I'm not really sure what to make of it.
Anyone have any experience with this?

It looks to me like someone realized that they were missing a significant revenue stream from the pool of uneducated Treo users. I suppose if you were desperately time constrained to make a connection to a really obscure network outside of the United States, then this application could be a good deal. I can't see much other use for it.

I played around with the program yesterday (hoping it might assist in my quest to enable a dial-up connection on my 650).

The program is essentially worthless. It does NOTHING. Seems to be an interface with your network profile, and allows you to "connect".

    Big woop!

    Avoid it.

    I have roadrunner dial-up.
I have tried numerous scripts to get a connection. I always seem to get a timeout. I finally got it to work using this script. The main item that helped me was the use of the word Delay: just before the Prompt:. This is the script that I used.
    Send CR:
    Send: aolnet/ent.
    Send CR:
    Send User ID:
    Send CR:
    Send CR:
    Send Password:
    Send CR:
    Send CR:
    Send: PPP
    Send CR:
    Delay:
    Prompt:
    End:
Once you connect, the popup screen will say signon. Then another pop up screen will say Prompt. Just hit the OK button. Do not put anything on the Prompt line. The next popup screen should say signon and the handshake, and then the word Established. You are now connected. Hope this works for you.

Thanks for the script. Didn't work for me, I still get the PPP timeout.

    Thanks, just the same.
