Reset the 650 - Resets assigned buttons?

I reassigned the "mail" button as "tasks". Each time a soft reset is performed, it sets the buttons back to their default.

Is there a way to stop this, or is this just another 650 hicup?

I have never heard of that happening to anyone.

Happens all the time with the wireless sync software on the Verizon 650. You can download a free utility, FixUp Basic, that takes care of this issue on Verizon 650s. I'm interested in feedback from users on other carriers.

This happened to me when installing 1.12 update on my Sprint 650. I had only changed two buttons, so not really a big deal to redo. And it was certainly a lot less than got reset on my i500 with a complete restore.

Thank you so much! That did the trick.
It was a small hicup, but it's nice not to have to go back and change it each time.
Besides, I reset at least once a day. If I don't, it usually will do it for me by the end of the second day.
    Thanx again
