I have a Cardo Scala 500 bluetooth headset, and left it in a shirt pocket. The headset went through both the washer and dryer.

When it came out, I couldn't get it to sync with my Treo 650. I called up customer support to return the *ahem* faulty merchandise. The guy on the phone had me go through all the standard troubleshooting stuff, and I played along. I think deleting the Scala from "Trusted Devices" did the trick. My Scala works now!

I do think the sound quality of the microphone is worse, and I kind of wish I could have bluffed my way through a return authorization. But I didn't have the heart, after being amazed at how much abuse this thing withstood.
