Schedule when the phone shuts off and turns on?

One of the best things about the 7135 was the ability to tell it, for example, to shut the phone off at 11pm and turn on at 7am. Is there anything for the treo 650 that will do this? I think this will help in battery life quite a bit.

    Thanks

uh..treoalarm is free so why dont you install it and try it..it lets you schedule 8 events and each event can shut off the phone and turn on the phone at a certain time..

TreoAlarm does *NOT* appear to be free, but it does have a 30 day trial.

If you want a truly free app, then look for RadioControl

RadioControl lets you set whether or not you want the cell phone to turn on automatically after a soft reset and set times to automatically turn the phone on and off. It doesn't allow certain days to be specified, just times, but it is free, and it does work.

The only version of RadioControl I could find would not work because my phone is a 650 (0.7.7).... is there a newer release or could someone point me to a 650 version?

Late reply, but treoguard has a schedule to turn off and on.

After posting about radio control, I found another free app that has greater functionality called TreoHelper

It is chock full of functionality for Treos:
    • Automatically turn on the phone after a reset (seems to work better than RadioControl)
    • Scheduled on/off times for the phone (set times like RadioControl or different times for each day of the week)
    • Automatically turn phone off when out of coverage
    • Automatic network disconnection
    • Perform functions based on SMS message receipt (including locking the phone)

There are extra features for older treo models as well.

    Best feature: IT'S FREE!
