Have you checked PalmGear or TreoCentral?

Google Sound REC and download it. This is a good program it will even let you save to the SD card and will export in WAV.

PalmOne has software that supposedly will allow this. However, as I understand it, you must use a headset mic to do the recording.

There's another app one out there that I'm going to look at from Audacity Audio (www.audicityaudio.com). They have two versions, a "personal" and a "pro," but I'm not sure what the difference is yet. Both appear to also allow syncing to the PC.

First, I'm demoing a nice app called mVoice (www.motionapps.com) that appears to do a better job of allowing voice recordings. The nice thing about it is that it can sync the voice memo in .wav format to a PC, making it available for a secretary to type. Unless the one from audactity turns out to be better, I'll end up buying this one.

I don't use Outlook, but I was just on the phone with AudacityAudio and the rep says the professional version of Audacity DVR (but not the personal version) syncs with Outlook. I don't know about the mVoice.

By the way, the link in my last post was wrong. It's www.audacityaudio.com.
