    replacement unit is going berzerk!

    ok, I have sprint. I recently had my treo 650 replaced with a new unit of the same model. When i went to hotsync my new phone to my existing username, it needed to reset.

    Now it just keeps resetting over and over... I think i remember reading something about this awhile back, but i cant seem to find the topic... can someone address this issue?

    That happened with my father who has Cingular. They replaced the replacement, no questions asked. they didn't even ask him to try a reset. You may have just got another bum phone.

    I could write this out but check page 252. It suggests doing a system reset found on page 233 to remove third party programs that may have put the Treo in a loop. I have Sprint so the pages should be the same.

    I figured it out. I had to "erase all data" by holding down the end button as it was resetting.

    From there, i just beamed all the data from my old phone to the new one.
