    Backup Buddy 7135 to T650

Has anyone ever tried putting in a SD card with a fresh backup from a 7135 and selecting the apps you want to install to your new "replacement" "upgrade" T650?

    Any ideas?

That way I could wipeout everything on my PC and start fresh with a new palm desktop install.

In theory this idea may work. Perhaps uncheck all extraneous apps and Saved/ Unsaved preferences then do a restore???

    Thanks guys,

The reason Im asking is because Im not near my PC this weekend and I just got my replacement. I want to put the apps on that I use often.

Plus I thought it might be cleaner than trying to tackle it on the PC side.

Not to mention its my work PC and I know myself well enough to know I wont be able to resist playing with it instead of working!!

    LMAO

I DONT want to try it tho if you guys dont think it would work.

Its not worth it, just wait until you can get to your PC and do it right the first time by following the instructions in my sticky post at the top of the forum.
