    Contacts Will Not Sync

For some reason, my contacts will not sync. Everything else will but if I try to "sync" or "handheld overrides desktop" my contacts it hangs up forever.

I am guessing that my contacts database on the TREO is damaged.

Contacts as well as everything else will backup to the card (I use "Backup Buddy" but I cannot hotsync to my PC.

I tried hard-resetting my 650 and it will hotsync fine with a "new" contact database in the handheld, but as soon as I restore the contacts from the CARD, I am back to the original problem.

    Any advice?

Is there any other way to take the "contacts" off of the handheld, other than through hotsync?

I currently don't use OUTLOOK, I use the Palm Desktop. Are you suggesting that I try an OUTLOOK Conduit to save my data instead of the PALM Hotsync?

I am not sure if this is your problem, but I had this problem before myself. I have Verizon. The solution ID #37678 that fixed my problem on the Palm web site (in the Support Knowledge Library) said to do this:

On your smartphone, launch wireless sync
    Press Menu
From the Setup Menu, select Connection settings.
Check the box for ENABLE OTHER SYNC APPS.

If that box is unchecked it would not hot sync my contacts.

    Hope this works for you.

That didn't work either. Box was checked.
