    Phone Number format issue

Coming from the Kyocera 7135 and 6035 before that...I have all my phone numbers stored in my contacts with extensions.

    For example:
    (555) 555-5555,,123

On the Kyocera, the coma's would act as pauses and they would be dialed when using the quick dial option.

On the Treo this doesn't work, and it's driving me insane

Anyone know a quick way to fix this or a different way to have the same functionality

The only way to have this functionality is to add the contact/number to a Favorites button as a speed dial. Then there is a setting for additional numbers, which could be used for sending an extension.

Thanks for the reply, but I hope someone else has another solution...I have 4,500 contacts and I would say 1,000 with extensions
