    Error message on Hotsync

    Can anyone please give me some advice on how to get rid of the following message upon Hotsync:

    "OK Backup
    The setup on the handheld could not be updated because the PC does not have a hostname or IP address. "

    How are you syncing?

    How do you have your sync prefrences set? (usb, serial, etc...)

    Is your desktop version installed to a local pc or to a network?

    Those are some starters.
