Question 7135 dead...Which is better and Why? Treo 600 or Treo 650?

A few days ago my Kyocera 7135 went SRCP.
I have tried numerous fixes, to no avail.
Still trying to fix it, as others. See my thread here:

    SRCP...Now What Do I Do?

    ANYWAY...On to My Question....
It looks like I could be going the way of the Treo 6XX.

What is every ones opinion as to which is better, and why:
Treo 600 or the Treo 650?

The Treo's look great to me but the data issue is a problem.
With the 7135 I had MOU for data. I was also able to use the
7135 as a modem MOU too. Can either of the Treos do this?

PLEASE help , if you can, my 7135 is dead, and I need to decide
between the Treo 600 or the Treo 650. Also, I have combed these
    forums extensively.

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks.

forum, not as spam, but to get opinions from both types of users.

if you have the choice then the 650 hands down. more memory, removable battery, better keyboard, higher resolution screen, faser processor.

both can use MOU, but I doubt you can get it on your plan once your switch, even if the switch was forced with a replacement. some folks have mentioned getting MOU back, but others are not getting it or ableto keep it if they do get it back. (there is a fairly recent thread here about that)

My Verizon/MOU opinion is this: Do your NE2 2 weeks from your bill cycle, and when they force you off MOU & won't give it back, tell them you are unsatisfied & if you can't get it resolved, Sprint's data is 1/2 the price, so why stay?
This works best if you pay $80+/mo for 1 phone or $120+/mo for 2+ phones...money talks, after all. Like everyone, they don't like losing cash cows.

Hey Thaxman... caught you trolling the other phone forums, he he... I'll be curious to see if your theory would work... if your phone holds out for another year! From my reading of others experience I think the best way to approach it is to make the CSR put in your account that there will be no change to your plan when when you switch phones... you're only switching equipment right! At least that's what I'm going to try... BTW I would go for the 650 as well. Its a better phone and the Palm interface is more stable as well. Good luck

Is stability an issue? If so, look at the 600. The big problem though is the age of the unit, the age of the battery, replacement of old/run-down batteries, et cetera. My Sprint Treo 600 never reset. Ben

I went through this a few months ago when I thought my 7135 was dying (damn thing keeps working perfectly!). Anyway, here's what I came up with. But, it's many months later, so I don't know why you're looking at a 600. It's not sold anymore. In fact, it's basically the same age as the 7135. I'd be looking at the 650 vs the 700p.
